In this hall you will find some pieces of art from regional contemporary authors, designed during the 20th century and also at present. Paintings, sculptures, ceramics and pictures compose the exhibition.

From this collection, the paintings of Josep Dalmau i Rafael must be highlighted, due to the diffusion of avant-gardes he made, from his art gallery situated in Barcelona. Other works from the remarkable noucentist painter Alfred Figueres must be also taken into account.

Josep Mestres Cabanes, who made the scenography for the Gran Teatre del Liceu during many years, has his own exhibition room in the MCM. There are shown the works that identify him most: the scenography and classical perspective.
