The exhibition will showcase the Museu de Manresa’s new acquisitions from 2024, making it possible to expand a collection that already includes eleven thousand inventoried works.
The collection, assembled around six Catalan artists connected to the city, will include paintings by Maria Noguera Puig, Magda Folch Solé, Ramon Trulls Pons, and Josep Morral; the winning sculpture from the 93rd “Concurs d’Artistes Manresans” 2024 (Manresan Artists’ Contest) by Eduard Fíguls Blanch; and more than a hundred sketchbooks containing artworks by Antoni Ricart Ambrós.
With the new acquisitions, the Museu de Manresa reaffirms its mission to preserve and promote the city’s artistic and cultural heritage, as well as to strengthen its connection with the local artists who are part of it.
