An activity to explain the bombings by Francoist aviation on the civilian population of Manresa and understand how life was during the bombings through a visit to a real space of protection: the air raid shelter of the Renaixença School Group. With a guided tour and a workshop, students will discover the characteristics of these shelters, why they were built and what role they played in protecting the civilian population. The activity also invites us to reflect on the effects of war conflicts, the value of historical memory and the importance of the culture of peace and non-violence.
