The activity “Photographs with stories” consists of the research, recovery and documentation of photographs around the Escodines neighborhood and Via de Sant Ignasi, and we’ll have a sharing of these photographs with historian Francesc Comas Closas
“Photographs with Stories” is an activity made up of two phases. The first is based on a call for citizens to provide photographs related to Via de Sant Ignasi, from the Fàbrica Nova to the Passeig del Riu, as well as of the Escodines neighborhood. The chronology of the images is open, so both old and more recent photographs can be contributed. Citizens who want to participate in the project can send the images via email to info@museudemanresa.cat or by going in person to the Museu de Manresa or the Museu de l’Aigua i el Textil, where the photographs contributed will be digitized.

Once the research and image contribution phase has been completed, a session to share the photographs with historian Francesc Comas Closas will be held on Tuesday, May 13. A session shared with everyone who has contributed images and open to all citizens in order to generate a community sharing around the recovery of memory, creating a meeting environment where to dialogue, remember and record the stories that the photographs are telling.
